Ive got most of my stock of the silver glass (double helix) and ive been experimenting....even though these arnt really my sorta beads ;) but i have to say i LOVE triton and aurae, ive just got pandora, khaos and ekho will see what this glass is like to work with.
heres my latest set....and i still havnt got xmas sorted, need to get my finger out, although just put my xmas tree up and it looks loveley :)

I finally bought some Aion 2, Aurae, and golden emerald glass, so i could try making these gorgeous storm beads.I must admit im not really into silver glass that much..but only because i can never work with it :]
As soon as my glassy box arrived i headed straight to the torch and voila....
my very first storm bead!

Sorry about the bad pic, was trying effects with gradient backgrounds but as you can see it doesnt work for mine ;(

Im sick of this weather...dark cloudy misserable, i love my bright summer colours
and it was great to use these wonderful brights....ahhhh roll on spring!

Ive also been practising the "roly poly" bead from laura and its an easy than i though toot.

Beading & re-vamping

What a week!!!
Trying to make beads at the same time my house (living room) is being re-vamped, plastering walls, re laying the flooring and then re-decorating, i cant find anything i need because everythings been put away till the rooms are sorted out.
Thank goodness i had my torch ;)

This is what i call my "lorna" bead, i love lornas work, she inspires me and she doesnt live that far away from me;) and will be having her visit for another lesson on thursday...what will she teach me this time :0

Also my idol the fantasticly fabulous Laura(beads by laura) has put a few tutorials on her Blog , and especially her new video on her stringer control, i watched in amazement :0 Go check her blog and see for yourself.

Heres my attempt from watching her on her video, im so proud of it :)
Just need to work on the neatness and the thiness of the stringer now!!

As you can see ive been playing around again
changing this n that.Ive also changed my website to a funky new look
so thought i would do the same for my blog :) I love colours and get bored of the same designs.
Im also making bead pairs for my website incase customers dont want full sets plus with being the credit crunch its hard on everyone at the moment.
Also some new jewellery designs in sterling silver & plated silver...so keep watching!

this is the first go at oxidizing, im hooked already!!
i took a photo of a before and after when i tumbled the pieces and much better not as harsh.Im still trying to work out what goes with oxidized copper for findings, ive come to the conclusion gunmetal is to grey so it might have to be "antiqued copper" i dont know but hopefully i will soon find out
